Automatic Processing Scheme for Low Laser Invasiveness Electro Optical Frequency Mapping mode
2016
International audience; Electro optical techniques are efficient backside contactless techniques usually used for design debug and defect location in modern VLSI. Unfortunately, the signal to noise ratio is quite low and depends on laser power with potential device stress due to long acquisition time or high laser power, especially in up to date technologies. Under these conditions, to maintain a good signal or image quality, specific signal or image processing techniques can be implemented. In this paper, we proposed a new spatial filtering by stationary wavelets and contrast enhancement which allows the use of low laser power and short acquisition time in image mode.
TASISpec—A highly efficient multi-coincidence spectrometer for nuclear structure investigations of the heaviest nuclei
2010
TASISpec (TASCA in Small Image mode Spectroscopy) combines composite Ge- and Si-detectors for a new detector setup aimed towards multi-coincidence gamma -ray, X-ray, conversion electron, fission fragment, and a-particle spectroscopy of the heaviest nuclei. It exploits the TASCA separator's unique small image focal mode, i.e. the fact that evaporation residues produced in fusion-evaporation reactions can be focused into an area of less than 3 cm in diameter. This provides the possibility to pack detectors in very close geometry, resulting in an unprecedented detection efficiency of radioactive decays in prompt and delayed coincidence with implanted nuclei. Spatiocolorimetric neighborhood hypergraph and Image Processing Applications : Noise Removal and Edge Detection.
2004
In this document, we are interested in image modeling by the means of the hypergraph theory. Our contribution is essentially centered on the determination of the properties resulting from this theory and on the analysis from their adequacy with image problems, particularly edge and noise detection.First, we study the image spatiocolorimetric neighborhood hypergraph representation. Three representations are respectively presented incorporating global properties, local properties and similarity functions. Then, we use the hypergraph properties generated by the representation in order to define the structural models of noise and edge. This enables us to deduce the algorithms of noise suppressi…
